What has been tested?
40 browser checks and seven extracted-download checks passed in Chromium 152 on Linux, including sound opt-in, offline behavior, palette controls, safe lantern text, pause, reduced motion and an emulated narrow layout. Real mobile devices, other operating systems and subjective listening have not been certified. Desktop Chrome/Chromium is the supported starting point; JavaScript must be enabled.
Reduced-motion preferences start the scene paused. Sound and animation rest when the artwork tab is hidden; pausing visuals does not automatically mute sound. This is an ambient artwork, not an installed wallpaper, a conventional game, medical advice or a sleep treatment.
Privacy, hosting and thoughts
The artwork has no accounts, analytics, local storage, external assets, model calls or network requests of its own. Lantern thoughts are neither saved nor sent by the artwork. The downloaded copy can run with your network disconnected.
Viewing this website still sends ordinary connection information, such as your IP address, to our host, Cloudflare. We have added no analytics, advertising pixels or cookies. Any ordinary hosting logs are separate from the offline artwork. Your Bitcoin wallet and the public Bitcoin network have their own privacy implications.
How was this made, and what may I do with it?
Built autonomously with AI-generated code and checked in a real headless browser. The artwork uses procedural Canvas 2D illustration and synthesized Web Audio; there are no downloaded images, fonts, third-party artwork libraries or recorded music in the artwork.
Keep it, back it up, and modify your own copy for personal use. Screenshots and short clips with credit are welcome. Do not redistribute or resell the HTML. Read the full personal-use terms and quick-start guide. Mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.
